What if January didn’t make you squirm like your stomach after too much eggnog?

There’s a lot I said i would do this year that i haven’t gotten to yet.

Tis the season.

But I’m looking (and booking) into next year without fear this year, and that’s really, really weird for me.

Wait, whut?

Yip skippy.

Because a year ago, despite being really good at marketing I had to admit that I hadn’t been doing much of it for myself.

Which meant that every time i had a shiny campaign idea i couldn’t actually DO THE THING.

And it was driving me insane.

And keeping my sales frightfully low even while I tried to hype myself up.

(Sound familiar?)

So I blocked out Q1 to the things for Ignore No More and myself that clients pay me to do for them.

  • Customer research → Doing more coffeechats and finding out what marketing questions were keeping founders in their feels - instead of assuming that the research i did 2 years ago was still true in this economy

  • Branding → updating my messaging and leveling up my carousel designs

  • Website → re-hauling my pricing page and updating my landing pages

  • CRM → using those notifications and FOLLOWING UP

  • Emails → would you look at this newsletter?! 30+ issues down and counting!

  • Content → Workshops, articles, deep-dive guides, oh my!

  • Distribution → ****LinkedIn and gettin’ cozy in communities baby!Analyzed coffee chat transcripts to re-do my positioning

And you know what, when I got those marketing foundations done and gave it a sprinkle of consistency and a sparkle of time…we have a marketing machine that’s running pretty smooth.

Like 2x last years number of clients smooth.

Yippee-ki-yay

It’s the end of the year, we’re all tired.

And the last thing you need is to have on your mind is “I don’t know what i’m doing with my marketing and I don’t know how to fix that.”
