Hellooo!! This is not what you signed up for
The analysis paralysis around your marketing doesn’t have to stay in 2025.

Oh hiiii! it’s nice to see you again!
What do you do again?
Something not in marketing, you said?
What do i do?
Marketing! I really, really love marketing - so much so that i own a marketing agency, i’ve spoken around the world on it, i do it for fun in my down time.
What was that? You do marketing too?
Ohhhh you have to do marketing, but marketing’s not your job.
Oh, oh wow, Ooh, you sound like…you absolutely hate being stuck in the analysis paralysis nightmare and the stakes keep rising because you have to figure out how to do this marketing thing right and you have no idea where to start? 😬
That…would absolutely suck. And boy, have i got a newsletter for you.
Every week i’m gonna send you a tactical, practical marketing how to that you can get done in 1 week or less and see it work.
No jargon, no strategy fluff, just the nitty gritty of how to do marketing when it’s not your job.
Along the way i will give an open door to all the mistakes i’ve made learning and practicing the marketing arts for the last 10-odd years, and what i’m doing and trying in marketing for my own projects.
If asked, i can also give virtual hugs and help if you hit a marketing wall with no ladder.
Yes, you can do this marketing thing. Even if it’s not your job.
If this sounds great and joyous but you’re like um…who are you? Sorry bout that.
Hi. I’m Sophia. 👋🏽 You’re getting this email because:
we talked on a call about your marketing
you bought a product from me
you saw me speak somewhere IRL or OYS (on your screen)
you saw me (and my big hair) on LinkedIn
we’re friends and I thought you’d like a peek into my work world
But most of all: you really need your marketing to work but you’re not a marketer and you have analysis paralysis about where to start.
If this sounds very not fun to you, feel free to unsubscribe (i will sigh in sadness, but i understand the need to Marie Kondo your inbox).
If this sounds like a trip you very much want to take, then hold on tight and i’ll see your inbox in less than a fortnight.
Can’t wait that long? Here’s some tactical, practical guides i’ve got up already.
How to add personality to your brand (on LinkedIn)
How to go from customer interviews to actionable marketing next steps (also LinkedIn)
What to do when a competitor announces they’re going kaput (yep, it’s on LinkedIn!)
We’ve got work that you (can) do. 😊
Cheers to fewer marketing tears,
Sophia
